How to add a new link in the app launcher on Android
I am using Launcher Pro, and I am looking to add a new link to the app launcher which will direct to my website.
I found the following:
Settings > Applications > Default > Open with > Web Browser
However, it does not work if I select "Always" instead of "When an app is launched".
Question: Is there a way to add a new link to the app launcher?

To create a shortcut to your website on the home screen, first click the Launcher icon,
and then tap the long-press menu button (three dots) to display the sub-menu.
After that, tap "Create Shortcut", and the following instructions:
Click the Web Browser icon, then tap to pick a name for your shortcut.
In the Shortcut Details section, tap the "Open web page" to open a website in the Web Browser app.
To see if your website has been added to your homepage, tap the Launcher icon on the home screen.
If you have successfully added your website as a homepage, you can now open your website in the browser by tapping on the home screen shortcut.
Alternatively, to add a website to your home screen shortcut as a website, see step 4 in the following instructions:
After adding your website to the app launcher, tap the Web Browser icon, then tap on the website.
Your website should now be displayed on the home screen.
Also, check that your website is set to open in the Browser app (the Web Browser icon should be set to "Always", not "When launched"), by tapping the Launcher icon, tapping App Settings, and selecting "Default Apps"
